How I will use Keywords in my Blogging Strategy? is the first question I asked myself the first time when I wanted to start my blog strategy, a lot of changes happen in the last years while people used to access blogs from an old subscribe or through search engines. Because a lot of people use search engines to reach blog more than before the bloggers try to improve their content strategy with the help of keywords.
That’s why I wrote this post to help beginner who seek to start their own blogs, I hope I can give you some of my insights.
what is a blog ?
A blog (shortening of “weblog”) is an online journal or informational website displaying information in the reverse chronological order, with the latest posts appearing first. It is a platform where a writer or even a group of writers share their views on an individual subject.
what are keywords ?
In terms of search engines, a keyword is the word entered on Google (or another search engine) that has a results page where websites are listed.
Keywords are words that a website owner or SEO professional will use to optimize a website in the hopes of ranking at the top of Google’s results for specific keywords.
Anything searched on a search engine, whether a single word or a phrase, is considered a keyword.
As a blogger if you want to write for these searchers, and try to come up with the questions they’re asking (keywords) and deliver that answer in your blog posts.
Also Keywords are used in marketing targeting, for example, in Google Ads you can place pay-per-click (PPC) ads on specific keywords. By using the content marketing along with search engine optimization (SEO) you can acquire high rankings organically.
How will be helpful to my blog strategy ?
Writing a blog post to answer questions is totally different than a blog post developed based on a specific keywords so to drive traffic from search engines you need to answer in your blog post the questions because that’s what users are searching for.
I only need to write to answer existing questions?
they are a lot of topics could get great engagement and traffic, but to get long-term free traffic its better to get it from search engine by building a blog while using a keywords research as a foundation.
Keyword research is the process of finding the right keywords for your own website to target. You don’t want to target the most popular keywords about your product/industry; those would be too competitive and expensive to advertise. You also don’t want to target keywords that no one is searching for.
how does one go about keyword?
by typing in a word or a phrase and getting back related keywords they are a lot of tools you can use like:
After searching for keywords in those tools you found a lot of keywords, but how I will choose? which ones I will use?
The first thing you need to consider is your audience, after searching for keywords you can start filtering based on your audience because the more you understand your audience the easier you can choose which keywords match your needs in your topic (blog post) .
The Qualities of a keyword are : Search volume, Competition , Word count and Intent.
Search volume is a measure of the total number of searches that are performed through search engines, expressed as the average monthly volume during the previous 12-month period. The metrics you get after filtering lets you evaluate how popular a specific keyword is and how much potential traffic you could direct to your site with a high position.

It’s better to choose keywords that lots of people are searching for, but you must focus on quality, to achieve this goal you need to target a lower-volume keyword because it’s much more relevant to your audience and your goals.
So How i will use them in my post ?
Like I said in the beginning you need to ask yourself the question the user are asking search engines and think of answers may show up there.
- For example, instead of using ” how I will build my gaming computer? ” ask yourself ” how I will answer this question? “
- so in the content to make a whole answers for different questions instead of writing answers for every question in one blog post:” personal build of a gaming computer vs expert build gaming computer “.
- Don’t forget to check similar websites similar to what you want to write to check their page building, ideas and insights because they are your competitors in the first page in search engines.

So Start and try by yourself and learn! and don’t forget to check other blogs, videos on how you can build your blogging strategy.
